COURSE DESCRIPTION

Managing behaviours of concern requires a thorough understanding of the underlying causes, including unmet psychosocial, medical, or environmental needs. This course explores clinical assessment techniques, behaviour analysis frameworks, and the development of positive behaviour support (PBS) strategies tailored to individual residents. Participants will learn to apply the least restrictive interventions, integrate sensory modulation techniques, and monitor outcomes to ensure safety and wellbeing.
