COURSE DESCRIPTION

Parkinson’s disease is a movement disorder that affects a person’s nervous system, having a significant impact on their quality of life. As the disease progresses, people with Parkinson’s often require additional care and support. There is not yet a cure for Parkinson’s disease. This course explores the symptoms of Parkinson’s and outlines a variety of strategies that staff can implement to improve quality of life for those living with Parkinson’s Disease.
